How long should I wait after painting inside my house before I hang things back up on the walls?

I want to make sure the walls are thoroughly dried because I don't want things that I hang up to stick to the walls.

It all depends upon the paint you used., some you can do so in 24 hours, others 72, I would wait 72 hours just to be sure, but that may be to long, but it never hurts to wait.

I think 72 hours is safe, a great way to have paint dry evenly is close all the windows and turn the furnace up on high and let it "bake" for a few hours. This is done commercially before a new building opens so paint, carpet adhesive & other chemicals that might smell or have longer srying times can dry fast & completely.

Latex paint dries

Latex paint dries fast, overnight is fine.

I'd wait 3 days!
