How can I stop condensation in my garage?

Are you sure the walls are sweating or is water seeping through the concrete.

You must determine whether or not the walls are sweating or leaking before doing anything.

If you insulate walls that are leaking, you will run into more serious problems.

Whenever warm moist air hits a cold surface, you get condensation. The only way you can stop this is to finish the walls, using insulation and a vapor barrier. This keeps the warm moist air from hitting the cold surface.

I have a partial underground attached garage on my house that I just purchased. I just noticed that we have condensation build up on the walls that are underground. My other wall that attaches to the house is all dry wall, while the other two walls and half concrete half drywall. The concrete parts if the walls are the only parts that are sweating. How can I stop this from happening? Please help, and thanks.
