You could look up "sharpie alcohol pillowcase" and do it dolphin themed.
Look at the photo below. You could draw or print some dolphin pictures and frame them and hang them in a cluster like so. Sorry for the bad quality :/
I would look at some ocean/beach themed rooms instead of just dolphins.
Maybe a dolphin nightlight would work also
I know you didn't want to put pictures up, but have you ever heard of a "tessellation"? Look them up, and maybe you could do a nice one with dolphins.
Maybe a little statue on your nightstand would work too
And maybe you could get some of those wall stickers that glow in the dark.
You can buy appliques. They are in the home decorating section at Walmart. They are like stickers but you can remove them easily without residue. Sometimes you can find lampshades with decorations that 'swim' around the room, so to speak..they make reflections on the wall at night. You could probably find these things online also.
