Emergency! How do I get rid of wasps without hurting pets?

Oh dear! I had a similar problem last summer and I tried to remove the nest myself but ended up doing more harm than good. We called a pest control company and they came the same day and got rid of it for us, safely. I really think that you should call a pest control specialist in this instance; it is your best chance of avoiding a sting and keeping your cat safe! These are the guys we used; they come highly recommended: http://hinespestcontrol.co.uk/

I cant advise anything for removal, I apologise. But just wanted to say, try have it removed but not destroyed as they are nature and part of the local ecosystem. Humans need to learn how to deal with things like these without the killing usually involved.

I'm house sitting for my mom while she's on vacation and she has a cat who is mainly an outdoor cat and can't exactly be left alone inside for long periods of time else he tears up the house. So in the past 3 days I've had to take down 2 different wasps nests. One on one corner of the pouch and just about 10 minutes ago, one hanging right over the front door. I've bought a can of the wasp spray that shoots far because I'm also highly allergic to wasp stings and then remove the nest. But I don't feel comfortable leaving the poison out with the cat so I have to rinse the porch down with water to try and rid as much as I can and honestly, it's all counter productive.

I'm just at a loss of what to do because I really don't want to poison my moms cat or end up getting stung and sent to the hospital. I'm really freaking out here and could honestly use some advice and help. Thank you!
