one thing roaches love is cardboard boxes. they use the corrugations like incubators, laying millions of eggs that can lay dormant until the weather changes and wakes them up. they also love to eat the glue that holds them together. if you have stuff stored in cardboard, get plastic bins and throw out the old boxes.

boric acid works really well. put some on the paths you've seen them travel. they take it back to the nest on their exoskeletons, they lick it off and it dissolves them from the inside out. ew. it also works on ants and silverfish.

I seen on tv where they used a torpedo heater in a badly infested house that had bed bugs...they ran a hose from the torpedo heater (outside) thru a window and heated the (inside) of house to like 120 degrees...they maintained the 120 degree temp for few hours and it killed EVERY bug...even the eggs...you also need to open all the closets, drawers, cupboards...ect...so the heat gets in...and remove things that cant handle them temps...

you can try insect foggers. turn off any sources of fire in the house, like heater or stove pilot lights. open

your closet and cupboard doors. set one can off in each room, go away for two or three hours.

they love to drink! so mix some boric acid with water, set traps all over the place, make sure pets dont get into them and keep them, filled.

I have just moved in a rental house that had roaches the day we moved in! We have hired Orkin and we have used boric acid we just can't seem to get rid of these disgusting bugs! The company we have is not very friendly they like to blame you for their issues instead of actually taking care of it! Orkin has helped but the roaches are Not going away permanently any suggestions? I have been cleaning!!!!
