Can you grow seeds indoor without growlight?

I want to plant beefsteak, cherry tomato, sunflower, and zinnia seeds indoor but I don't have growlight. I know they will grow but will they survive indoor without growlight?

You really don't need a great deal of kit to germinate seeds indoors. Just a container to grow them in. Sometimes I use a plastic lid over the top to keep them warm, but just sitting them on a window sill will do the job.

A lack of light can cause the tomatoes to become leggy. But you can fix this when you plant them outside by planting them very low in the ground.

Yes. You can grow plants inside without a grow light by putting them in a window sill

I don't agree with John. Growing plants in a window sill will make your plants leggy. You don't want that to happen. :)
