I did it for about 3 yrs until some of my friends insisted that I get a bed - I miss sleeping on the floor. Get a couple of cheap sleeping bags so that one can be getting washed while you are using the other.

My bed is a memory foam mattress and it's too soft for me. I can't buy a new mattress so I need to sleep on something firm, like my floor. I was going to get a sleeping bag, but I wonder if that's comfortable enough to sleep in every nite? I have an area rug on the floor but it's pretty hard.
