Another room color question...?

Hi - you could go with either a silver grey or a peach and a light blue. You do not say what colour your couch is nor do you say if you already have curtains that you are going to keep - so we are working a little blind and can only go on the colour of your carpet.

Therefore, you could either have one feature wall in either of these and keep the creamy other walls, or you change the colours of all your walls.

Here are some pictures of peach and blue living rooms to show you how these two colours can go together and look nice and bright and fresh together :)

If, you just go for one feature wall i.e. your fireplace wall and keep the others creamy, then I would suggest that your purchase some accents to 'tie-in' the colour you use on your wall. i.e. some cushions, perhaps your curtains if you are going to change them - so, say you had peach for your feature wall, then you would need to bring in some peach cushions and perhaps you could go with peach and cream curtains. Or, you could also bring the blue in with the peach, but a pale blue - then you could mix the cushions of blue and peach together and have blue and peach and perhaps a bit of cream in them. And.. vice versa if you used blue on the wall or even a silver grey.

You could also use the silver grey on all the walls except the feature wall which could be, either the peach or the blue. But... again also bring some silver grey in your accents. So, if you went with peach or the blue with the silver grey - your accents would be peach and silver grey or the blue with the silver grey. Hope your getting my 'drift'? :)

If you use silver grey you would need something the same or similar to this - although if you did go with silver grey for your other walls, I would be tempted to go with the blue as your feature wall and your cushions could be in a mix of light/dark blue and silver grey and a little of peach in the mix.

Hope the above helps :)

Maybe you'll have a fresh idea. This is living room and dining room. Both have hard wood medium floors, 3 off white walls (Berber Wool color), and one dark maroon wall. Both have oriental carpets with dark maroon, and a few other colors. The woodwork, blinds, trim etc. are also the light beige color. I want to lighten it up and I am tired of the maroon. None of the colors in the carpet seem right. (peach, dark blue, gray), Any ideas for changing things up? I do not want to buy new carpet but it needs a change. Thanks
