in 2008 there was a mortgage fiasco which affected America and several other countries and was the worst in foreclosures in 6 states in America (people lost their homes) and the economy went south. Our president says we're recovering but most of us don't see that. In addition the minimum wage was increases so that cut out some jobs and lowered some to part time work (30 hours a week). Competition is keen. Try for two part time jobs rather than full time, and get a state license to work and do small maintenance jobs on your own for pin money.

Hard to say. In general, I've found that persistence, and having a future orientation, pays off. Working hard in school, and college to earn top grades for a future career is one example. And once working, I found that constantly improving myself and taking on more responsibilities was the way to get raises and promotions. Finally, keeping the future in mind, saving 10% or more of my gross income has been a help. By living within my means, I could focus on whatever was important in life, rather than worrying about debt.

Do have a job?? With a job, it's not nearly so difficult to earn. Right, who knew??
