My husband and I are thinking about If we want to file bankruptcy or not. Years ago when my husband was in high school his car at the time got repossessed and a judgement was placed. He is still paying on this and still owes 8000 because of all the interest with the fees from the attorneys office.

My question I’d if we decide to file and become retained can the lawyer try to come and file a garnishment on my husband?

Do the right thing and pay your debts and don't borrow money you aren't going to pay back
