You can only go to jail if you are found guilty of a crime like fraud.

Just owing money is not a crime.

However, they can sue you, win and then start garnishing your paychecks and make you wish that you were in jail.

you will not go to jail but your credit score will be ruined and you will have a very difficult time borrowing money for a car, bike, home etc.

contact paypal and give them the information they need immediately.
