Why do i have no energy?

Before you look into depression, medication or therapy of any kind, try this:

It could be a few things Brenda but here's what I can suggest.

1. Drink more water. Scatter 4 big glasses of water *threw out the day*. Dehydration does exactly that. You will pee at first but you need it and with time your body will absorb more and more.

2. Go for a run or speedwalk for 30 minutes after supper. Your brain will secrete Dopamine which will help with sleep and motivation.

3. Make sure your eyes get at least 15 minutes of sun every day. Just sit outside and leave your eyes open. It will make your brain secrete Serotonine which will help with your mood and motivation. Plus if you speedwalk in the sun, you do both 2 and 3.

4. Try not to eat after 7pm. A high sugar level in the blood doesnt help with sleep. (this also helps with weightloss)

5. Before bed, do DEEP relaxation. Lie down, think about every parts of your body from top to botton and "shut them off" taking any stress, pressure, tension out of them one by one.

6. If you cant fall asleep within 30 minutes, get up, read a bit and try again after. Just staying there trying to sleep can trigger light anxiety which in turn wont let you sleep.

7. Avoid alcohol and coffee(duhh). Alcohol might help you fall asleep but the sleep wont help you recover.

8. For obvious reasons, identify your sources of stress and adress them. This is perharp the most important as its probably the source of the problem.

Don't take this the wrong way but, if you are a little overweight, you might have a sleeping disorder like Apnea. Look into that. Do you snor? .. Overweight or not, a sleeping clinic analysis could reveal a sleeping disorder. If I think of more ill update!

Good luck Brenda!

Sound's like you need to eat more greens, and fruits that contain antioxidants like blueberries, etc. You could buy a juicer, and read up on what kind of vegi and fruit mixes that you can make to boost your immune system a little. It really does make you feel better.

Also be sure you aren't living with any mold.

Then finally, and most importantly you should talk to your doctor, and read about daily environmental toxins that you may be unaware your living with, and consuming. Also open up your windows in your home at least once a day and let fresh air circulate. Get at least 60 minutes of exercise a day, and maybe drink some aloe vera juice once or twice a day as well.

That's what I would do anyway. :o)

Good luck no matter what, and take care of yourself.pc

I assume there was no recent change in your life that might have been the cause?

Time to see a doctor. It could be an infection like mononucleosis, or depression. In fact, the restlessness makes it sound more like depression, but I'm not a doctor. It's good that you can force yourself to do things that are good for you. Please force yourself to visit the doctor.

Go to your GP, it sounds like you have depression as it has gone on for so long.
