Why do I keep getting shocked!?

It is probably your carpet, giving you a build up of static electricity, try going barefoot for a while and see if it still happens.

Low humidity allows for static charges to be built up. There are antistatic sprays that you could spray on the carpet but they are really dead bacteria ( pond scum ) as bacteria are conductive, there are also grounding ankle straps that you strap onto your ankle to the bottom of your shoe to try and conduct the static away, these are used in the electronics industry to prevent damage to chips.

Static Electricity is the reason for it. you probably have carpets. oh wait, you said everywhere. You're probably charged with electrons from something and canceling out that charge when you reach for other objects.

Wear real leather shoes. Not plastic.

Every since I have moved into my new apartment about 2 months ago, I am non stop getting shocked every time I touch something metal. I get shocked atleast 15-30 times a day and its really starting to get annoying now. Why am I getting shocked, What can I do about it and is it harmful?
