It would be so neat though to live in a place underwater - say in 12 feet of water along some sunny coast.
When I was a little kid we went to Disneyland - and one of the most fun things was a two story display. It appeared to be filled with water - and you could look through huge windows onto the bottom of the sea where a treasure chest was broken open. But even as a little kid, I began to suspect that this thing wasn't full of water - the glass wasn't thick enough. The Disney people had designed this big display with various lights with turning filters which gave the perfect appearance of the ripples in water.
That in itself was neat enough - but imagine the real thing!
Open the door and step outside the house. You will see the main drawback right away (assuming that you could open the door against the pressure)
very expensive, to pump in and out gases, pump out sewage , they have had encolsed eco-systms domes on land which have failed
We can. It just cost a lot.
Okay, I have been looking on the internet. I noticed that there are under water hotels but why not houses?
I think in the future it would absolutly amazing to live in an underwater house. WELL, not actually live there but having the option would be nice.
I mean, if we can have under water hotels and house WHY NOT CITIES??!?!
Completly off topic but how would I go about building one? Not a real one, of course but something in a fish tank maybe?
I'd actually like to try to buld the city, just for fun of course. I want to hear opinions on all of this and if you could help me with this side project that's be great too!
