Test the bulbs before usage to your comforts
Try a warm white LED household bulb, they're about $10 for a 9 Watt, and give off about 60 Watts worth compared to incandescent. No buzz, no warm-up time, longer life and better cost savings.
To install lights there needs to be scientific approach. The purpose of the lighting is most important. Fluorescent light fixtures come with mostly two bulbs. Bulbs come in different rating as to wattage up to 50 watts. The Home Depot website has a variety of the wattage AND the light power rating as in brightness. The next issue is how man fixtures. For a work environment any lighting specialists knows the recommend brightness. A factory, a major store, a warehouse, any large space needs more lumens that your kitchen or garage or bedroom. It is obvious you have not done any research. It is NOT about the new vs. old. You have not mention wattage in your posting. You need to get educated either by going online and researching the light bulbs or by hiring a lighting expert to do an analysis. There are instruments that measure light output much like an old fashion photography light meter does. You best get started.
the problem is what if you have something in your eye and you can't see it in the mirror since the bulbs are not bright enough and have to wait until the lights get brighter SO TO SEE WHATS IN THE EYE. those bulbs are no good as what if you see something in the kitchen and turn the light on but can't see until It gets brighter then too late the bug is gone. if there's a little bug you are trying to catch but light is not light enough and then. I think it's stupid as what if you trying to get medicine and can't read it yet then have to wait unitl the light get bright to read. ITS A STUPID BULB .. whoever made that idea making these bulbs are so DUMB not realize it is not working.
You probably didn't buy a bright enough bulb.
You bought the wrong wattage dumdum, they come in all wattage and brightness levels.
new material is used in the bulbs. less voltage.
because they are useless.
but the brightness sucks
thanks
the power people & the mangment put them in,
the manager & landlord are the one wh installed them, like my dad once said;
"they do not know what they are doing"
I got new florescent light bulbs in my kitchen & it means it dark so hard to see computer as in hurting my eyes after a while. My friend has the old bulbs that are brighter & she sees ok. So what can I do? We have to have them, I have an energy small light by the computer but this puts glare on the eyes, so what can I do?
Thanks
