Putin puts an image of him as a great person, blaming the U.S. and his points encourage then to side with him and think he's being good. Plus he manipulates with Russian nedia so people think he's a great guy. So yeah.

There are many pro-Russian, or to call em differently: rational views here and elsewhere because people are starting to see the Ukrainian conflict as it really is: a conflict of US-EU vs Russia, with no concern what's happening to the folk in Ukraine, nor their real sympathies.
And the media are just using russophobia instead of rational thinking and trying to realize that West is meddling with a region that not only was Russian but as well wants to stay that way (at least the East part of Ukraine & Crimea). Stop watching the media, start feeding your brain ;) Use internet (although without knowing some languages it'll be much harder for you).
Probably taking a broad informed view rather than a knee jerk " how dare he" reaction. Crimea and Ukraine were a part of Russia until very recently, and Crimea has always remained close to Russia with major military installations and a majority of ethnic Russians living there. The current Ukrainian government are hardly saints, although you can sympathize with them and why they took to arms and overturned the democratically elected government. What would you expect Russia to do? What would America do if the locals in Hawaii took over the government there by force? Of course that is no excuse for what Putin has done, but some people are able to take a pragmatic view.
Some say it is the Republicans who support him on here and nothing could be farther from the truth.
Most do not support him nor are in favor of what he is doing. You will notice that those who claim that it
is all the "right winger" or the "far right " who are supporting show nothing to support this but just do the
normal talking point of the left leaning media.
Mr. Putin is doing the same thing that Hitler did before the start of WW2. Demanding that this area become
part of Russia because they need protection. BAH!

I support a strong and vibrant America. It's too bad we have a President that doesn't.
