Plastic is dirt cheap. That's why iPhones are double price cause it's nothing but the best materials. Agreed, samsungs feel like a toy. Garbage unoriginal crap that lost multiple lawsuits for copying apple. If you can't make something new then don't make anything at all
They really like the shiny glossy plastics, but none the less, I am a huge fan of Samsung. They have great products.
You get what you pay for, or in the case of Phones-4-U, what you don't pay for. Mine was free on a Vodafone tarrif, when Vodafone direct wanted to charge ￡149 for a tarrif with fewer minutes and ￡10 a month more. I truly don't understand how the industry works.
Samsung was acquired by Seagate, and Seagate is notorious for having cheaply made products.

Everything on samsung galaxy s2 is plastic. It feels like a toy from the dollar store. The iPhone 3G can stop a speeding bullet and I'm sure the samsung can't stop a bb gun pellet.
