Solar power is still in a very small scale unless the success of fusion. Hence Natural Gas is better nowadays. Bio-fuel would be the alternative.

U.S. Navy has successfully tested bio-fuel in aircrafts and warships.
Depends on what you want. Solar power has an upfront cost but within about 5 years will break even and then is a free source of energy.. Whereas natural gas is a finite resource ... Eventually all the gas fields will get used up and the energy resource will get depleted.
If you are trying to be green, then go solar.. If you just want convenience at a low cost, then natural gas.
Remember natural gas is only for heating and hot water, whilst solar can power all of your house
Natural gas in every which way.
More convenient
Easier to do
Less pollution
Natural gas is not much good for refrigerators or air conditioning in my opinion.
But natural gas is excellent engine fuel, way better than diesel
If you want to set up an emergency electric plant, fuel it with natural gas.
This actually depends on your location. If you average it all together.
Both work out just fine.
Some areas such as the Midwest are best suited for wind powers. Being there is enough wind to supply the needs of 2050 by 7 fold.
