It's important that you do not support electronic waste collection companies that simply ships out of the country and dumps into a 3rd world or developing country, where they do not have an infrastructure set up to safely dismantle and reclaim the metals. People in those countries may end up very sick due to the air and water pollution.
Please note that when you discard electronic waste that you need to remove any batteries beforehand and recycle those separately. Meaning, don't leave your lithium battery in your lap top. Also, broken e-waste is just as recyclable as whole e-waste, so if you have a broken CRT monitor do still recycle it. There is a lot of lead in that monitor that needs to get managed properly.
E-waste bin is separate bin to collect electronic wastes like T.V, Computers, mobiles and etc. Most of things collected in this bin will be used for recycling.
