Solar power is the conversion of sunlight into electricity, either directly using photovoltaics (PV), or indirectly using concentrated solar power (CSP). Concentrated solar power systems use lenses or mirrors and tracking systems to focus a large area of sunlight into a small beam. Photovoltaics convert light into electric current using the photoelectric effect.[1]

Solar Installer training is intended for those wanting to work in solar field. It deals with the basic principles, application, design, installation and operation of Solar systems. This is an NABCEP entry level course and once you pass it, you can go for NABCEP certified solar heating installers training. For this you need a detailed working knowledge of plumbing as well as electrical codes and standards.

It is training on the proper installation and function of Solar energy equipment.

This could include Thermal and Photovoltaic. Safety issues, electrical and plumbing, customer service, construction and government rules and regulations.

The North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) is the “gold standard” for PV and solar heating installation certification. Designed to raise ...

This is a beginner course in the study of solar photovoltaic (PV) cells, modules, and system components; electrical circuits; PV system design and sizing for use on homes; solar electric products and applications; and understanding energy conversion from sunlight to electricity, and working with solar conversion equipment.
