Those Americans have rights the same as you, if you take there rights away that is a problem.
As an American a Government that takes away the rights of it's citizens is against the American traditon.
I don't think the Police should be allowed to do that.
If and this is a big if, those who are protesting with guns threaten the public or police then the police
may if it is deemed right to do so use force against them. However most who protest with a gun
do not point them at anyone but point it down at the ground.
That by itself is insufficient cause!
Considering the "protestor" might actually be an off duty officer and or a undercover police officer that is not actually a protestor, it might only be a case of mistaken identity!
Some time back a NYC police officer shot a undercover officer dead who was making an arrest!

The police should use deadly force when it is necessary to protect their lives or the lives of others. Mere possession of a weapon does not qualify.
If people have a permit to carry a gun, then they should be allowed to carry one. Holstered safely on their body. If they don't have a permit, then they should not be allowed to carry a gun. If protester's legally carrying a gun are not threatening other's then there shouldn't be any reason why someone would have to feel that they need to defend themselves.
