his device was real. But there was to much money to be made by the government in selling energy to the people. His device was not one that would make energy but allow it to be transferred to each persons home wire free. I really know not alot about this kinda stuff but I think it would be like a giant tesla coil that gains power from solar panels or another energy source and our houses would get it. kinda like when you stick your finger on a plasma ball. all the energy goes to your finger.

What you don't find is anyone honestly competing with your electric utility.

The thing Tesla said that there the Earth had a sound of a ring bell. I am not sure but I think he said that there is sound and frequency. And that you could generate energy with sound.

Just to give you a hint, look at Michael Tellinger videos. He points out specific very ancient ruins which are over 400.000 years old in Africa, they are build in such a way that produce energy.
