I believe force bussing had a negative effect at 1st liberal thought it was just great in the south then came to liberal Calif and they found out their little darlings were subject to being bussed and it was insane they formed ''Bus Stop'' out in Calif and put and end to this madness
Individuals would be G Wallace who ran for the Democrat nomination for the Presidency who said ''segregation now and forever'' as an aside it was a Republican who shot him
Race / your a racist hurts them.
Also minority criminals are given a pass more often even when they are guilty of crime one their race.
Black on black crime / murder means little .
Affirmative action means a minority is less or less is required.
Education in black areas have evolved to the point they pass them with not learning.
The minority areas are not protected and simply minority death means little.
it may have been needed. it may have helped minorities. but many minorities received jobs/promotions over better qualified non-minorities
Negative effects, let's see.
Supremacy groups on both sides of the aisle. Black Power and KKK were both horrible. Malcolm X realized Black Power was bad and lo and behold, he was assassinated by his own group.
