Can you put compost in the green bin?

Most garbage trucks just pick up the bins that are sitting out and don't check what's inside. Having a compost pit warrents many kudos and though urine is high in nitrogen-it is not good for a compost pit. No urine or feces from pigs, cats, cat litter, dogs or humans should be put in compost. For moisture on compost pit you can use the left overs of anything that was safe for you to drink including the water off your boiled veggies, eggs and pastas, and other hosehold items such as napkins, paper towels, and cardboard with water added when needed as compost should stay damp like a wrung, damp sponge and on dirt is the best so you can get the natural way of compost with the worms help but hey! on the concrete is better then no compost at all. Everybody needs to compost even if its just burying your veggie scraps in a different pile once a week. Go Green!!!

Depends on ur local council. Mine says yes to compost, no to soil. So if any of it was composted, he could had raked it across hi garden. The rest in the bin.

Why was there pee on the compost?? Everyone knows that is best saved for the lemon tree.

Well it's not a good Idea putting it in the green bin because that's where plastic bottles/ cans go

Put the compost in the BROWN bin!

All depends on your council. Mine says no to earth, so I expect if I put compost out, they wouldn't take it. Why did he not just leave it in the garden? Even if he wanted to take the actual bin, he could have left the pile in its place for the new owners/residents.

My friend spent a few years making a compost heap, but he's moving and didn't want to take it with him. He put it in his green bin and put twigs and stuff on top to hide it in case they didn't take it. His compost had pee in it so it was pretty wet. It took up half of the green bin. If he hadn't covered it with the leaves, branches and other stuff, would they still have taken it?
