In short, yes.
Alternative ways to recycle if they are in good condition.........
Donate to a charity for resale.
Donate to someone you may know of that has kids going to school and may be struggling financially - or see if your old school has some sort of programme where they give the less fortunate pre-used items to help out with the school book/stationary list.
Or put them in a box outside of your house with a sign 'Help yourself'.
Recover with contact or nice paper/posters/stickers etc. and use them again yourself for College.
Keep them at home to put school work into when you don't need it anymore, but don't want to throw it out - perhaps for future reference or simply to have the mementos of your progress in your school years. I get a kick out of going through my old school stuff!
Re-cover as already mentioned, and turn them into albums, scrapbooking folders if you are into that, etc.
The plastic folders, if the 'envelope' type, hang onto them and use a seperate one for different accounts, correspondence from different friends, recipes, magazine pics of whatever you like etc. etc.
Recover, decorate and turn into gifts by making them into a collage of photos of yourself and the person/s and things of interest to them (like pages printed off internet - jokes, animal pics, etc. etc.) for individual family or friends.
sure , they can be recycled
or maybe think of giving to other
Why not use them for college paperwork also instead.
I think it's Ok
I'm emptying my back pack from highschool because I'm going to college next semester. So can I recycle 3 ring binders and plastic folders? I don't want to throw away stuff that can be recycled. Thanks!:)
