At 19, sure. Independent, enough money to live on, although the Lexus on $36K/yr was dumb. Had you been 29 and asked the same question though.......no way. You're obviously a smart and capable guy, if you're not taking college classes now, you should be. If you're still making $36K/yr in 10 years with only $4500 in the bank (and that's where you'll still be if all you have is a diploma), you'll be miserable. Act now to get yourself ahead. Good luck!
No, not really bad but the Lexus was a really bad idea and you will need college but be bogged down in debt unless you actually did pay cash for your car. Your income is high for a kid but about half what most people make in later career so depends if you are in a dead end job.
