I got a black skater skirt the other day which was a big step for me because I'm not very girly. I'm use to skinny jeans and band ts with vans converse or keds. I'm not sure what type of shirts aren't good to wear with it. Keep in mind I'm pretty modest. Well.. A real skater wouldn't wear skirts. But if it's black and obviously a skater shirt I would wear a Jamaican colored shirt or tie dyed shirt.

I think skater skirts are really cute. If your wearing your as high waisted ( up/ passed your belly button) then wear a crop top with it. ( a shirt that is higher that your lower belly and/or belly button) Not just any crop top bc there are plenty. Like the long sleeve crop tops or t shirt crops If your just wonder what wouldn't go well with it well I'd say any shirt is cute, I say tuck it in, sometimes it looks really weird tucked out. This pic is cute with a crop top.
