I think emerald green, lilac, babyblue, or a midnight blue would look absolutely darling! It would bring out the grey but also add that classy touch of color you want! Please, don't do neons with this dress-might be slightly tacky. Red sounds beautiful too! Dress in what YOU like and you'll look fabulous!! Good luck! :)
Thank you guys but was hoping for maybe a bright colour as i feel grey/silver shoes and handbag would make the outfit boring!

Personally I don't think you should go for silver, it'd just be too much. If you want to have a little pop of colour, or want to be a little different, go for a colour! Maybe some red or pink strappy heels and some matching jewellery and a purse. If you want to keep it classy, go for black or sparkly gold.
