Looking to buy a second pair of sunglasses - are polarized lenses a must?

I already have a pair of Costa Triple Tail w/the 580 polarized lenses. I've had them for several years now, and I'm looking to diversity with a pair of metal frame glasses. I've found a pair that I really like, but my dilemma is I much prefer the looks of the gradient non-polarized lens to the darker polarized alternative. I've worn polarized lenses exclusively for the last 8-10 years, but I'm really torn on what to do. So I guess my question is how important do you think polarized lenses are? Would you sacrifice looks for polarization?I already have a pair of Costa Triple Tail w/the 580 polarized lenses. Polarized breaks down light rays and reduces glare. if you plan to look into water or see better through glass or in really bright light you will be very disappointed with non-polarized
