Hi! I just got my ears pierced about 8-9 months ago. I have camp coming up (it's a long story, so I won't go through it all) bottom line, my mom doesn't want me to take my earrings out because for camp, I'm not allowed to wear earrings, and I think that I should switch my earrings into different pole earrings now, and then take them out before camp. She thinks that I should keep them in, until camp, and then before camp, take them out, and leave them out, for a week. Is that bad? Will they close up? If you had them for more than eight months, it should be safe to take them out for a week or two. Also, can you not even wear the earrings to bed at the camp? Because wearing them all night, should insure they won't close, if you're that worried about it.

They are probably healed by now. So it really doesn't matter whether or not you keep them in. As long as you keep them clean they should be fine.
