It's possible If you measured too tight you could get the wrong number, if you're not measuring in the right spot you could get the wrong measurements. I like this site: If you go through it it'll explain how and where to measure.
You may have measured wrong. In 4 months some one who is growing can quickly change sizes. Different brands of bras may not go exactly by the chart you were using. what matter is--------Does the bra you want to buy fit you. If you are old enough to wear a bra you are old enough to be professional fit. Most any nice department store should have some one to help you with that. If you're not in a position to buy a more expensive department store bra just get the fitting and thank them. Remember it's not so much about THE SIZE it is ABOUT THE FIT. Remember to try on your bras before you buy them because different brands and style fit differently and you CAN NOT tell if a bra is for you by the numbers alone.
The vast majority measure wrong and believe they are a size that they are not. When old enough, have a professional measure you and keep an open mind until then.
