I received 10k white gold earrings (post style) for my anniversary, and after about two weeks of wearing them (about 10 times) the post is broken off of one, and the other is cracked where the post connects to the earring. I was extremely gentle with them, and even changed the backs to softer ones.. But every time I put them on, the posts would bend. I am going to get them repaired.. But how do I keep this from happening again??
