Haha, well.... Cliche Hippies did. Like in the movies.(: Buts yes, flowers, wavy hair, soft makeup, And i think the whole tie-dye thing is kinda cliche, but hey! Spirit day!? Sounds like the perfect place to dress like this. So shorts, (Bleached, torn, ripped.) and shirts (Fringed, pulled, worn out) Anyways, hope you have fun, got to say tho...Im jealous you get to do the Hippy day thinng!(;

Bohemians wore flower crowns... I wasn't born in 80's but I don't think they did?? lol.. I know that 80's people were in to tie die, so you can wear a tie die shirt. They were into big hair.. so tease your hair like crazy lol.. ummm... what else... They were into really BRIGHT! colors, so bright color clothes, glasses, hair, makeup, shoes.. EVERYTHING lol.. Hope this helped you (:

Yes, some hippies wore flower crowns. They wore bell bottoms, maxi skirts, tie dyed shirts, for a few examples. You could easily make a tie dyed shirt. Get a white t-shirt, tie it in knots, then immerse it in dye.
