Changing Tags on Clothes at Department store?

A friend recently went to the store and changed the tags on some items and then felt bad and put it back and took another jacket with the full price. It was a presale so they took her information. And they told her to come back tomorrow to get it. She purchased the product at full price but could she be arrested or get in any trouble. She got nervous and went back to the store to try the stuff on again. Should she just take this as a life lesson and not pick the jacket up?A friend recently went to the store and changed the tags on some items and then felt bad and put it back and took another jacket with the full price. The thing is that the tag has a barcode and once you bring it to the store checkout, they will see that the tag was wrong and say sorry for their mistake (They won't consider you doing that on purpose and will look for trouble for people who were tagging them). Or maybe the worker will miss the mistake and it could go fine. Also, never do something like that, because such actions might not affect you, but other people might feel bad for what you've done.
