Where are cheap, good quality places to buy room decor?

I think it depends entirely on what exactly you are thinking in the way of decor. If you mean paint and home-improvement supplies then you're going to be needing a hardware store like Home Depot or Lowe's.

If you are talking about sofa and chairs etc. etc. you're going to be needing a furniture store.

If you're talking about odds and ends like new lamps, decorative little doodads that you leave around, then yes TJ Maxx and Ross, even Walmart and target have decorative doodads.

Do not get sucked into the notion that more expensive equals better quality. Your local dollar store can provide you also with decorative doodads at a fraction of the cost of a TJ Maxx, Ross, Sears, etc.

I suggest you look at Pinterest and look for ideas and start at the "bottom" and go shopping at the low end stores before you start going up the price line.

If you take a beautiful person and dress them in rags, you still have a beautiful person. If the bones of your room are solid and strong, the decorative aspects of the doodads does not have to be so strong. Also keep in mind, less is more when it comes to adding doodads.

TJ Maxx and Ross. Some people like Hobby Lobby, but I avoid them due to their anal-retentive views.
