What frightens me about storing pictures online is that on some websites it is automatic that whatever you upload becomes property of the website and they can use it however they want. Admittedly these rules are on public websites but with sites being sold and bought all the time one never can be sure who or how the rules can be changed.
Photobucket
a portable hard drive will hold a lifetime of pictures. Keep one set on your computer and another set on the portable hard drive. a 2TB HD is$100 now, pretty affordable.
I have an obsession with nostalgia. I take pictures and screen shots and video of EVERYTHING. I mean, everything. Anything I can.
It's not always a good thing and it's truly an obsession, but now I am running out of space to store them all. I want to keep all of these things and have some type of scrap book of all of the memories.
THe problem is that I have literally thousands and thousands of pictures and screen shots... and then also some video. I also don't want a book that can get ruined.
Is there something online I can store these things for good? Is there a chance that the website could go down and lose them all?
Any suggestions??
Thanks!
