Of course you can do neutrals like beige or tan if you want a more sophisticated or classic look, but if you want something chic that pops then coral or a mint green would look nice, as long as the mint green is the same green as the curtains but just lighter. If you do coral, then something rich rather than very pale. You could do the same coral as the last wall or something lighter.
Same color as the curtains for the pillows I think would look very nice.
my parlour walls (3 walls) are painted 'very' pale pink and the last wall is painted Coral. I have Apple green curtains and intend to complement with deep brown sofa. centre rug is brown but has grey,tan and black stripes on it.
