Glue traps made for spiders will catch both. Some powder, even baby powder with cornstarch, will smother bugs.
Every bug killer is toxic, dear. That's what kills them. Go buy any bug spray (Raid, Hot Shot or whatever) and spray it along the perimeter of every room and especially around the doors and windows and any place they can get in. Buy a second can to spray around the outside perimeter of the house for extra protection. It works.
You need a crawling insect spray,sometimes called surface spray.There are many good brands such as Raid,Pea Beau,Mortein etc,even generic brands work fine.All sprays are toxic but you seldom hear of anyone being harmed by them if they are used correctly.Pets don't go near them if that's what worries you.

I want to buy something that I can spray along the floor boards to kill the ones already inside. There are a lot of bug ones, it is so gross. (Its not my place but I just moved in.) I live in Oregon. They just keep appearing! I want something non-toxic I can spray so they all die.
