What kind of materials can a painter charge us for?

These are tools for their trade and this should be included with a s/f price quote..Paint should be the only itemized thing on the bill not includeing labor. If they do want to go this route and charge you on an itemized bill you get to keep all these items, YOU paid for them..

A good painter will buy quaility items and reuse paint rollers since they need to be cleaned at the end of the day..

You get to keep the paint you paid for ( and whats left over) don t you?. Be careful with these clowns.. GL

If you had actually READ the invoice...before paying...... You could have questioned the items. AFTER paying... you don't have a choice about making a complaint. do you ?

Lesson learned ??

We hired people to paint our new house and on the receipts I see items like a paint roller frame or a putty knife. Should a painter be charging us for these items? Shouldn't they already have these items? I can understand being charged for screws, sandpaper, or the paint roller covers as these would have to get changed out after each job.

Thanks in advance
