Hi - have you thought about painting your furniture - then it would give it a different look but still the same pieces and they could all match in the same colour. And.... it would be far cheaper than buying new and even if you sold your furniture you would not get much for it as most people these days don't want to give you anything. And.... specifically if your furniture is still in good condition!

Here are some details on the type of paint you can use, which, with this paint you don't need to sand unless it has chips in it or something and also, you do not need to prime it. The paint is called Annie Sloan which is a chalk paint. I've used and it is good paint. Once you have painted your furniture you need to put wax on to protect your furniture from marks etc. I will also include a couple of videos. What I say is, have a go because you don't know what you can do until you try it.

Sell the old furniture on craigslist and go to the store and buy your new furniture.

I'm planning to replace some of our furniture's at our home (e.g computer desk, TV furniture, etc.). How can I properly replace those? It's still in a good condition and I just don't want to dispose those off.
