You can use accents of blue or yellow .
Add fresh green plants to make the room have an airly feel.

i think you have the best color walls already - white. My brother had red carpet in his room and he painted the walls red. That look was OK but very intense. I lived in a house with red carpet and beige walls, that look didn't work too well.
As for rug I would go for a light cream as that would off set the red very nicely and keep the room light and airy along with your wood furniture.

Hi! My bedroom has red carpet, it's pretty bright but not overwhelming. Unfortunately, the carpet cannot be gotten rid of/changed, so what colors for a bedding set? would go with the carpet? The walls are white, and all the furniture is a dark wood. I was planning on getting an area rug which would cover most of the carpet too (if I could have opinions on a color for that too that'd be awesome! Haha) anyways, thank you!
