Sick of bedbugs. Want to cry. Help?

Spread liberal amounts of boric acid powder and diatomaceous earth (harmless substances available under various proprietary names) everywhere you suspect bed bugs might hide, and especially on your mattress and in all the cracks and seams in your mattress. This is a permanent solution. It will start working immediately, but because it doesn't kill eggs, it may take several weeks to completely eliminate the bugs.

try this pressurized steam cleaner, its suppose to be more effective on bed bugs hidden out of reach. It works just fine, plus u can use it for other stuff too. And best part is no chemicals are used. check the link below.

Vacuum everything every day for two weeks steam clean and apply ortho max.

Also want to add that I have 3 cats that are like my children so if I use chemicals they must be safe!

About 2 weeks ago, discovered that my couch (Where people sleep when they spend the night) was infested with bed bugs and that explained my random "mosquito" bites. I got rid of my cough and box spring (although I don't think my box spring was badly infested at all) and applied a bed-bug proof mattress encasement to my mattress. I have no bed frame- can't afford a new one and now terribly paranoid to buy used furniture- EVER. I have cleaned every day - sweeping, vacuuming corners, mopping and occasionally spraying with Bayer brand spray that kills them. Still getting bitten but the only sign I have seen of them if one dead one on my floor during cleaning. Have cleaned out cracks in the wall with credit cards- nothing. Nothing in the deep crevases of my recliner in the living room. Nothing in my empty dresser (All my clothes are in my car) I can not afford a professional. Help me :(
