To make your room bright, relaxing and appear larger paint one wall tuquoise/aqua and leave the remaining walls white http://s950.photobucket.com/user/sheilab...

Create an amazing lighted headboard by hanging string lights and drape/thumbtack a sheer sequin curtain over the lights cascading down behind your bed. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Beacon-Looms-G...

I'm moving next month and I'm trying to get ideas to decorate my room. I have wood paneling and they're already painted white, so there aren't any natural wood "designs" showing through if that makes sense. We're buying the house, so I'll be able to paint my walls. We're going to start painting next week. Anyway, I was thinking about painting each panel a to a pattern. Green, yellow, green, yellow, so on...or whatever colors, I haven't decided yet. I'm trying to use bright colors because my room is relatively small. Anyway, I wanted to know if I could do a Tumblr room? I mean, would that look weird to tape pictures or phrases on a panel? What about Christmas lights? I'm just worried they won't look as good as they would on a flat surface. Also, what colors would work good for a bedroom(relaxing colors) while also bright to make my room appear larger? Please help.
