More adult looking room?

well, almost any color would look good with that so you should experiment with new colors that you think you'll like. i'd pick three colors to add to the room.

you'd want to make one of the colors the main focus and then accent with the other two colors.

with this comforter, i'd add pale turquoise and peach accents.

with this set i'd use navy blue and tan accents.

this one will be a burst of color all on its own.

or go the other way, with all neutrals.

don't be too afraid of making a mistake... that's what duvet covers are for. just throw one over your comforter for a whole new look.

and don't buy all your knick-knacks and cutsie stuff all at once. it's more fun to slowly find just the right little thing you cherish, one at a time. when you go someplace new or do something new, you'll want to get something that reminds you of that.

A gold soft plush blanket..for starters. Floral throw rug, and plants. White lace curtains and satin ribbons hanging over the rod, streaming down..in multi colors that match the rug. A vanity with a seat, and antique looking mirror.

with white background and black furniture you have lots of choices, I would pick pale blue comforter and sheers for summer with emerald green accent pillows, for the winter I would go with a darker color, maybe purple, or deep green or blue and heavier lined curtains.

With the black and white you are well on your way to a sophisticated room. I'd choose a simple comforter, maybe a light aqua or gray shade, and then add drama with lamps, art and pillows. See if anything here inspires you:

Hotel rooms are very much symetical .

Here are some bedding ideas :https://images.search.yahoo.com/search/i...

You should add a colorful throw at the end of the bed.

Try colorful drapes and even a rug.

Ever since I was like 15 my room has been pink and zebra themed. I feel like a child every time I walk into my room lol. Now I'm 18 and I am moving into my new apartment in august. My bedroom has white walls and white carpet. I have sleek black wood bedroom set and I want my new room to look nice, more adult like, hotelish? I need help deciding what color comforter would look nice and any other decorating ideas/ tips would be much appreciated :)
