Irrigation pipe broken?

I really don't know what you hope to accomplish by complaining about it here. Call your property manager back and complain to her.

I apologize for the photo being sideways. My photo on my computer is correct, I don't know why the photo ends up sideways every time I try to upload it on here.

So last week we noticed a small part of our lawn was sunken in. I spoke to my property manager for the community I live in. She thought it was just perhaps it was just not enough dirt or perhaps an old dead root died. However, this past weekend, I dug up the hole and didn’t notice anything unusual so we put more dirt to level the hole off. Unfortunately, where I live, the Homeowners Association controls our sprinklers and we have no access to turning on our sprinklers, so I wasn’t able to turn on my sprinklers to check for leaks. Well the next day, lots of sand came out and was all around the hole now. (as you can see). I know our HOA turns on our sprinklers in the middle of the night, just don’t know when in the middle of the night.

I first noticed this mess Monday night when I got home from work. Tuesday morning, I notified the property manager of our community about my issue and showed her the same pictures. She said it looks like a blow out of the irrigation line and that she has notified the landscaper. She did not know when the landscaper will come fix my issue, but she assured me that this will be fixed. Well that was on Tuesday and today is Thursday. The landscaper has not come to my house yet to fix this. (this is in my backyard). Apparently, they don’t see this as a rush.

For me, it is a rush since it’s my backyard and I have freaking hole in my backyard lawn and a busted irrigation line. Other than the fact of having a hole in my lawn, are the more serious issues that can occur if we keep waiting for the landscaper to come fix this? I am worried the hole may get bigger, my grass will start dying and whatever other safety hazard issues.
