Non-maintained is what you require, but it must mains fed,not solar or anything like that nor even pir activated. It is mains fed to trickle charge the batteries within the fittings.

Info about the systems and types of emergency lighting in links below:

I could say buy a couple of large torches !! Phone one of the large Electrical firms

Easy solution.

Look at maintained / non-maintained lighting.

Hi I have my own business, and for health and safety reasons, in our depot, we have to have emergency lighting in case of a power cut.

IT's a large open space, with 2 large garage doors that are always open, so in the event of a power cut it's not exactly hard to find your way out.. but rules are rules!

I'm struggling to find one!

It needs to be PIR sensor or motion sensor so that it only comes on if people are in there.

And it needs to be solar powered or battery powered, because obviously we don't need it on in the day... it's only if the power is cut off. One concern with solar power is if they don't get the sun, they obviously aren't gonna work?

Also it can't be mains powered, because obviously in the event of a power cut that's not gonna help us :)

Any links or products you could recommend would be appreciated.
