I like the idea. The orange will go well with the grey table. I would add a table umbrella in a bright orange stripe or print with matching or coordinating seat cushions for the chairs. If you don't find cushions you like just buy the cheapest flat ones you can find (even if they are ugly) then buy a piece of fabric or even an outdoor table cloth and cut a square about 10" larger than the cushion (so if it is 15" x 15" a piece 25' x 25") and lay the cushion diagonally on the cloth and fold the corners in and pin them together on the back.
In fact I have often bought pretty outdoor large tablecloths and then cut them down. You could get one for a large table, cut a round cloth for your table out of half and have enough left over to cover the chair seats and even make a couple of napkins or cover throw pillows for other furniture out there, like a small stool.
Another thing that really helps make an outdoor space feel cozy is a rug, either a straw type or one of the indoor outdoor ones. I have two outdoor concrete covered porches and a patio and have rugs on all of them. Mad Mats makes fantastic looking plastic woven rugs that you can buy on the Web in lots of places. I got a cool tile patterned outdoor area rug at an Aldi's store for $30. If you have World Market shops in your area (they are like Pier One) they sell woven seagrass matting I covered the entire concrete front porch of my last house with it. This stuff holds up well and looks great outdoors.

With the orange and grey you could add accents of a bright turquoise or teal blue as well as bright yellow. I would add some plants in bright colored large pots to your area too. Get some of the tall metal "shepherds crook" plant holders that stick in the ground with a hanging hook on the top and suspend colorful glass or paper candle lanterns from them for evening lighting.
I spent a lot of time in my furnished outdoor areas all summer -- I think you'll love your little patio once it is done.
