How old is my antique furniture piece?

It's from China and has doors opening from the back. I thought maybe 1700s or early 1800s. It also has birds painted on it & sealed with wax.

look at the hidden parts of the piece.. pull out draws and look at corners to see how the piece is built dovetale joints are a good sign also lack of any modern hardware like screws. turn the unit over and look for export stamps. another clue would be the paint using a lead test kit to see if the paint contains lead which hasnt been used in awhile.. None of this is actually a gimme for age all of this can be faked to be honest most likely the unit is less than 60yrs old and a reproduction made by china for the U.S market..
