This is the Catholic Church's official stance against Witchcraft as stated in the Catholic Catechism.

"All practices of magic or sorcery, by which one attempts to tame occult powers, so as to place them at one's service and have a supernatural power over others - even if this were for the sake of restoring their health - are gravely contrary to the virtue of religion. These practices are even more to be condemned when accompanied by the intention of harming someone, or when they have recourse to the intervention of demons. Wearing charms is also reprehensible. Spiritism often implies divination or magical practices; the Church for her part warns the faithful against it. Recourse to so-called traditional cures does not justify either the invocation of evil powers or the exploitation of anothers credulity."

Feng shui is total bull crap. It is based on no scientific evidence and it is also against God and His Catholic Church because resorting to and putting your trust in feng shui and not in God is like telling God:

"I don't think you can help me so I'll go find someone else who I think can."

By believing in feng shui and allowing it to have an affect on your life shows your distrust of God, distrust of the Catholic Church, distrust of reasoning, logic and rationality, distrust of scientific evidence and your trust of mysticism and false superstitions.

You can't becaue feng shui is total BS.

I have been very very unlucky this year

I have read some fengshui stuff and realise that my new bookshelves and the position of the table and the cupboard is unfavourable

I wanted to change the position of the furnitures and cover the shelves with my old blanket which I hardly even use (there's no harm in trying it right)

But my parents refused to let me change my room

They said im too young to have such old fahioned thinking

Then later they said are u sure u will get better results (I will hav more confidence though)

Then later they said Catholics shouldnt believe in stuff like this (but I thought feng shui is not a religion, just a system?)

Then later they talked about this guy who tell the public about the zodiac and then got killed

They said then why didnt he prevent himself from being killed and he already knew what is going to happen?

Please tell me how to persuade my parents so that I can rearrange the furniture in my room
