Do you have wasp spray? That normally takes care of them immediately. If not, wait until they're gone from their nest and douse the nest with the spray.
Just get a tennis racket. I've taken out multiple wasps in one swing.
You can buy wasp and hornet spray that shoots about 20 feet.
Why kill it? It's trying to get through it's life like every other creature on the planet.
